Registration for the third annual Teaching for Learning Conference at Utah State University is now open. The conference is March 21-22, 2019, and will be held at the main campus in Logan. The conference theme is “Refresh and Reinforce Learning,” and Dr. Gail Rice, director of faculty development at Loma Linda University, will be the keynote speaker.

Thursday and Friday lunches will be provided, and the first 150 attendees to register will receive a copy of Dr. Rice’s book, “Hitting Pause.” Register for the conference at empowerteaching.usu.edu/conferences/T4L2019.

Call for proposals for the sixth annual Empowering Teaching Excellence (ETE) Conference will open February 12, 2019, and the deadline is March 29, 2019. The conference is schedule for August 14, 2019, and will be held at the main campus in Logan.

Aligning with Utah State University’s mission, the conference theme is “Learn. Discover. Engage.” Presentations are faculty submitted, faculty led, and focused on teaching innovations that have worked at USU. This year’s keynote speaker will be Stephen Gavazzi, author of “Land-Grant Universities for the Future: Higher Education for the Public Good.” Proposal and registration information will be available at https://www.usu.edu/empowerteaching/events/conference/.
