   2017 Analytics Leadership Workshop

Tuesday, August 15, 2017, 8am - 12pm

Logan Campus, DE 013

We are excited to announce the first Analytics Leadership Workshop at Utah State University. This event has been designed to bring a broad coalition of leadership from around the institution together to learn more about and discuss the implementation of academic analytics systems here at USU.

Presentations will include a keynote by David Kil, Chief Data Scientist of Civitas Learning, as well as several updates about some successes that USU has already seen in our implementation initiative.

Additionally, attendees will receive training on the newly available analytics software Illume Courses, which is designed to help university administrators identify common course taking patterns that either facilitate or detract from students' likelihood to persist and graduate.

Register today! We look forward to seeing you there.

Keynote Speaker:

Dave Kil, Chief Data Scientist, Civitas Learning

A Vision of Analytics for the 21st Century University

There is a tremendous amount of innovative work being done in the world of analytics and data science, and so much of that work will pay tremendous dividends in the education sector. Civitas Learning is both on the cutting edge of analytics and has a deep understanding of the challenges facing students and faculty today – the best of both worlds. Dave will share his passion for helping students make the most of their learning journeys and offer encouragement as USU joins Civitas in this process.
