Our Analytics Services

Analytics for Faculty

Curriculum & Instruction Analytics Tools

Faculty have access to an analytics tool called Illume Courses that reveals meaningful associations between student performance in certain courses and graduation liklihood. By identifying student behaviors associated with higher graduation rates, this tool helps faculty support student success through enhanced pedagogical practice.

For additional information about Illume Courses or to schedule a two hour training for an academic department, please email Mitchell Colver.

Canvalytics

Canvalytics is an analytics tool that is still in development. More information will be published soon.

For additional information about Canvalytics, please email Meghan Lewis.

Analytics for Staff

Program Evaluation Services

Program administrators have access to a team of program evaluation specialists to assist in the process of assessing the impact of programs and services on student well being. This process uses a multi-part, collaborative consultation to generate an executive summary containing insights into how co-curricular programs and services associate with meaningful changes in student well-being.

For additional information about this service or to schedule an opening consultation, please email Amanda Hagman.

Academic Advising Analytics

Academic Advisors have access to a tool called Inspire for Advisors that facilitates targeted outreach to students for whom our contact has the greatest potential for impact. Utilizing this tool has been associated with dramatic increases in student persistence from term to term.

For additional information about Inspire for Advisors or to schedule training, please email Mitchell Colver.

Analytics for Administrators

Retention-Oriented Analytics Tools

Department heads and other university administrators have access to an analytics tool called Illume Students that reveals insights into how student performance across numerous variables associates with student persistence toward graduation. Using this tool, administrators can identify key areas for targeted changes to policy and practice to drive institutional effectiveness.

For additional information about Illume Students or to schedule training, please email Mitchell Colver.

Curriculum Diagnostic

Academic departments have access to a tool called Curricular Analytics that diagnoses unnecessarily complex degree pathways. By working to eliminate unnecessary pre-requisite/co-requisite relationships, administrators can clear the path toward increased student completion.

For additional information about this service or to schedule an opening consultation, please email Mitchell Colver.
